This is our first Selway model, but with some extras beyond the base price of a standard Selway. We consider our Selway model a Jumbo, with an approximate 17" lower bout.
This guitar has a master grade red spruce top, master grade eastern maple back and sides and a maple 2-piece neck. Add to that multi-line rosette with abalone, as well as Macassar Ebony binding with multi-line purfling and abalone top. The ebony fretboard and ebony peghead are also bound with Macassar Ebony and WBW.
The nut and saddle are bone. The bridge/end pins are ebony with MOP dots. The tuners are gold Waverly's.
The finish on the back/sides and neck are a "Honey" tone, dark enough to highlight, yet light enough to bring out the beauty of the wood.
