Ruby Custom
This Ruby Custom was ordered by a client. It has a custom inlay fingerboard, headstock and bridge that I designed and
hand cut. It was bound with abalone on top, bottom, neck and peghead.In addition, the back and sides are Honduran Rosewood, which produced an amazing sound (listen to the audio clips on the "Check it out...." link).
Clark Fork "Brazilian"
I had a set of Brazilian Rosewood that had been in my wood stash for quite a few years that cried out to be used.
In addition to the Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, was a Red Spruce Top. I used Curly Maple Binding on the body, fingerboard and peghead.
It turned out to be a striking guitar, with a voice to beat all (listen to the audio clips on the "Check it out...." link).
Gus Creek "Cutaway"
Gus Creek is a guitar that I designed. It is a small guitar with a surprising big sound.
On this guitar I incorporated a cutaway body design. This guitar has an Englemann top, and outrageous curly maple sides and back.

Wise - Quilted Mahogany
The Wise is my interpretation of a slope shouldered dreadnaught. What makes this guitar unique is the beautiful quilted mahogany back and sides, the curly maple binding package.........

Lolo Creek - Custom
The Lolo Creek model is reminiscent of guitars from the 1930's and early 1940's. It is a shallow bodied
guitar with a big sound.
This specific guitar was custom ordered by a customer, it has Honduran Rosewood back/sides,
Tortoise binding package.............

Lochsa - Custom
This model is a square shoulder dreadnaught.The pricing for this model includes Brazilian Rosewood: Back/Sides, Fretboard and Belly Bridge. It has a big zipper backstrip, as well as Holly binding, abalone dot inlay and abalone headstock inlay. The top has holly and multi line purfling. The bridge pins and end pin are bone and the tuners are Nickel Waverly with vintage keys.

Bitterroot S/N 050
This model is actually the Selway model, but it was built to commemorate a major milestone in my shop in Montana as
The Bitterroot #050. This guitar was built with the same tooling as a Selway Model, but we added lots of
"extras" to make it special..........It had an master grade set of Koa as well as a master grade German Spruce Top (with an abalone and multi purfling rosette).

Lolo Special S/N 090
In this shop I have never done this before, that being, to attempt to recreate a vintage guitar. My strategy was to build it as close as practical
to the specifications and materials used for the original, keeping in mind that it was built in the 1930's. My intent was for this to be a learning experience, and I can say without hesitation;
yes it was.The resulting guitar is very close to the original in appearance and suprisingly (to me) in tone.....
